Michael Crabtree

This blog will be about one of my favorite football players–Michael Crabtree. Crabtree is a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are my favorite football team. The 49ers drafted him with the 10th pick of the draft last year. He held out for the first part of the season because he wanted more money but two weeks ago the 49ers and Crabtree came to a deal, and now Crabtree is starting for them. In his first two games, Crabtree has had five catches for 58 yards and six catches for 81 yards which is pretty good for the first two games of his rookie year. I feel like Crabtree gives us a good vertical passing threat. Before the 49ers signed Crabtree, they had mostly possesion receivers and no deep threats. Crabtree brings this to the table. He will open things up for Frank Gore in the running game because the safties have to give deep help over the top for Crabtree. The 49ers should be a tough team to play if Crabtree devolops, because they already have a tough defense. Hopefully, we will see the results on the field soon.

Digital Footprint

I think it is important to have a positive digital footprint, because some day when employers are interviewing you for a job, they may google you first. I think you should have a real photo of yourself when you graduate college.

I think my parents were responsible for telling me what was ok to do on the internet, but now i think I need to be the one who is responsible. It isn’t possible for my parents to always be around and checking on the things I’m doing on the internet.

I think that I have a very small digital footprint. When you google my name, some things you can find out are what high school I go to and what church i go to, but that is about it. You can get nothing specific off it. If you go to my facebook page, there is very little on there too. You can find out my email address and my birthday, and maybe you could see some of who my friends are.

The Moose, the Bear, and the Squirrel

The moose led the bear through the tunnel a long ways. It was further than the bear expected to go. It was also down a slight descent. Between the bear and the moose was a squirrel. Every day, these three animials made the journey except for the squirrel who usually didn’t come. They went so far into the tunnel that it was hard to breathe. Then the squirrel found a rock. The squirrel said,”Whose nuts are these?” “They’re your nuts,” said the bear. “Thats a lie,” said the squirrel, “I only brought two. There are three nuts here.” “The other nut is yours too,” said the moose. “Oh thats right. It’s mine,” said the squirrel. “I should be more thorough in my counting of my nuts next time.” Now the three animals made it to the end of the tunnel. On the other side, they found a desert so they were all ready for dessert. They sat down and split the dessert into three pieces among the three of them. Eating the dessert affected them. The effect was that they were sick. The squrrel became conscious of the fact that he was sick and threw up on the moose. “You’re sick,” said the moose. The bear threw up too. The squirrel had already thrown up. “Don’t breathe on me,” said the moose, “I don’t want to get sick. Where did you throw up?” The squirrel let loose some more vomit. The squirrel lost the no vomiting contest. He decided that he could accept that fact. After they all felt better, they continued on. “Bear, you lead the way this time,” said the moose, “I can’t go 10 miles farther. I want to lie down.” The bear put on his everyday shoes and continued on. He laid his good shoes on the side of the road. They continued down the trail 2 miles farther. The three animals continued on until they found peace and happiness. “We’re here,” said the bear. “Where are we?” said the squirrel. “We’re in the dessert.”

40 commonly mistaken words

This story was an assignment for college comp. We were supposed to write a story with as many commonly mistaken words as we could. That is why this story makes no sense at all. Don’t think I’m weird, think my teacher is weird.

The New York Jets

This post is about a team that recently joined some of my least favorite teams in the NFL. This team is the New York Jets. One of my friends, Daniel, has the Jets as his favorite football team. He talks about how good they are all the time. This really annoys me because it was like all he talked about for three weeks. Plus, the Jets  talk a lot of trash before the games and act like they are the best team in the world. Also, their quarterback took pictures for a fashion magazine. This kinda made football players look dumb. Anyways, the Jets are still above the Vikings and Patriots, but that’s all. I’m sorry Daniel. I just can’t like them anymore.

Cheating

This article is about the rise of cheating by kids due to the Internet. The Internet has made cheating and plagiarism easily accessible for kids. Cheating is very tempting because like the article said, it is easy to find on the Internet these days. Also, it is obviously a lot less work. Kids these days can be very busy with sports and other things, and some may cheat to find a way out. This does not make it right, but it may be a reason why they do it. Cheating is only hurting themselves in the end, because when they go to college the professors are a lot better at catching plagiarism, and they will not be able to pull that off anymore. So kids, don’t cheat. You only hurt yourself.

Slime Volleyball

Slime Volleyball is something that interests me quite a bit. I waste a lot of time in school playing this game. It is so much fun. I usually play against kb. He is pretty bad, and I dont think he has ever beat me. You should check this game out. To go to the website, Click here

Brett Favre

This post is a post for anyone who dislikes the quarterback Brett Favre. Now the reason I hate Brett Favre is because his team the Minnesota Vikings beat my San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and I might be a little bit bitter about it. Also, he is a traitor to his team the Green Bay Packers who he played for for a very long time. He left them for a division rival the Minnesota Vikings. I also hate whenever he scores a touchdown, he acts like a 5 year old and has no class. The Vikings play the Packers this coming week, and this is going to be a huge game. Who do you think will win? And what team do you think will win? Leave a comment letting me know

The Blogging Challenge

Obviously, I am joing this blogging challenge because it is a requirement for my class. That being said, I still am trying to get the most out of this blogging challenge. I am enjoying it so far. I hope to take part in the better blogger challenge because my teacher said that was what I was supposed to do. I hope some of the activities are blogging about anything that we want to. That would be a good assignment to me. At the end of 10 weeks, I hope to have become a better blogger, and I hope I had fun doing it.
